IN the Gym

Well, I've been in the gym for several weeks now. I'm starting to feel it for sure. I am feeling a bit stronger, and seeing a little bit of difference, however slight. I look forward to seeing how this program pans out for me at the race in Tucson!

In the Gym

Been in the gym for three weeks now. I"m starting to feel it for sure, and see a little improvement in muscle definition. Just slightly. I'm not any less tired on my rides, but I do feel a bit stronger on the singlespeed. I am looking forward to how this program all comes together come February.

Back at it

Well kids, I guess I'm oficially back into my training. Gone are the days of going to Tucson for the 24 Hour in Old Pueblo (24HITOP) out of shape with more beer on hand than anything else. This year I'll be soloing. So, I've been at the gym three times a week. I decided to jump on the BWR bandwagon and am using Dr. Ross' program. Have been using my Hammer products as well to ensure strong recovery and muscle growth. I've even dragged my girlfriend into the program. That way I have someone to go to the gym with me.
Riding and training is expensive! My teammate turned me to the local community centers. I've learned there is one right down the street from me in fact. Great array of weight lifting torture devices and freweights all at our disposal 6 days a week and for FREE!!
I'm also sucking my lil sister and her hubby into bike events and training! I think everyone should ride and well if I'm a suffering through the winter why not everyone else around me?
